Conciliation
Conciliation is a form of settlement negotiation carried out between the disputing parties with the assistance of an independent neutral. Similar to Mediation, Conciliation differs on the basis that if the parties fail to reach agreement the Conciliator will recommend a proposal for the settlement of the dispute which the parties are free to reject.
