Mediation

​Mediation is a form of ADR which is designed to avoid the need for parties to engage in litigation to solve their differences.

A Mediator is appointed by the parties to meet with them with a view to a settlement being reached by the parties, facilitated by the Mediator in a without prejudice private setting.

Keith Kelliher has extensive experience working with parties to resolve disputes. Key to resolving any dispute is communication, open dialogue and respect and Keith works to provide a setting to achieve all of this in the Mediation process. Keith has experience as a mediator in a broad range of disputes from general business, partnerships, construction, apartment complex, management company, to consumer disputes across all levels and values.

Keith Kelliher is an Accredited Mediator, an approved mediation tutor and course director in the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators education faculty and is a certified member of the Mediators Institute of Ireland.

Keith Kelliher is the current Vice Vhairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Irish Branch and is also a current Council member of the Mediators Institute of Ireland.

Mediator - Commercial

Keith Kelliher is an accredited mediator, is qualified in mediation in Ireland and regularly sits as a mediator in disputes in commercial contracts. Disputes involving partnerships, management companies, insurance, forestry and the likes have all been successfully mediated by the practice.

Mediator - Construction

Keith Kelliher has extensive construction contract experience across all sectors of the industry from large infrastructure projects to small commercial and domestic projects. Keith has represented clients, main contractors and subcontractors in all types of disputes including payment. Keith has been a strong advocate of mediation in resolving these disputes and has facilitated mediation in numerous construction disputes.

Training

Keith Kelliher is a member of the CIArb education and training faculty and regularly tutors in the area of Mediation. Keith is the current Education and Training officer of the CIArb Irish Branch and has recently been selected as the Regional Pathway leader for the CIArb in Mediation in Ireland.
